Further vocational qualification in entrepreneurship
The further vocational qualification in entrepreneurship is implemented in cooperation with Savo Vocational College, Savonia University of Applied Sciences and Pohjois-Savo Business Center. The further vocational qualification in entrepreneurship is worth 150 competence points and during the training, experts from the Business Center offer sparring to students at least twice or according to the student’s needs.

Developing business, innovation and entrepreneurship skills
Savonia University of Applied Sciences offers the opportunity to study entrepreneurship and new business development in several courses – whether you are interested in developing your skills, have a business idea that you would like to explore or test, or have a company whose business you would like to take forward.

Entrepreneurial training and career coaching
When you are considering entrepreneurship as a career option, intend to become an entrepreneur or have founded a company, you can participate in entrepreneurial training, career coaching or labour market training.
Entrepreneurship training and career coaching provide you with information about the everyday life of entrepreneurship and help with business planning. You can develop your business idea, make a business plan and at the same time deepen your knowledge of, for example, marketing, financial management and taxation, and become more familiar with the measures related to starting a business.
Training that supports starting a business and various areas can also be completed as independent studies. Remember to find out in advance how the studies will affect your unemployment security.
You can start a business while participating in entrepreneurial training. Once you have made the decision to establish a company, you should contact the employment service as soon as possible. As a starting entrepreneur, you may receive start-up grant or you may be entitled to unemployment security.
